Is it ok to run this daily ?
Why does it allways ask if you are sure that you want to preform this operation?

It is more than ok to run daily, probably not necesssary, but OK. Microsoft loves to ask, "Are you sure you really want to do that" as a failsafe to keep people who have accidently clicked on something from deleting info or doing something they may regret later

Whenever I have trouble with a website loading old information material instead of their current info, they will say: "Did you clear your cache?

Is clear the cache the same thing as "Disk Cleanup"?

I don't see anywhere to "clear cache":icon_conf

In IE, go to TOOLS, then INTERNET OPTIONS and hit the "delete temp internet files" button (It will hang for 30 sec-3 minutes while it deletes them).

Sort of, but not quite the same. When you do a disk cleanup there are many checkboxes. By checking the Temporary Internet Files box, you clear out the cache.

Or as TTinCo said you can go

Tools
Internet Options

This brings up a dialog with 6 tabs across the top (General, Security,
Content, .......)

Click General, then look for 'Temporary Internet Files' (under Browsing History in IE7)

Click 'Delete Files'

Click 'OK' again and this should clear all cached pages.

This way is quicker because you don't have to go through the whole disk cleanup process.
